Millwright
Location (Houston Texas) - Field-Based (Requires 75% Travel) (Company Vehicle Provided)

Responsibilities
The Millwright is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of conveyor systems through maintenance, repair, and installation. This role involves both in-shop work and extensive field service at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
o Preventive Maintenance & Repairs
o Perform routine and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and related equipment.
o Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment failures both in-shop and on-site.
o Fabricate parts as needed for overhaul, maintenance, or setup.
o Ensure timely completion of all maintenance and repair tasks to minimize downtime.
o Installation & Assembly
o Assemble machinery and components before installation.
o Conduct start-up testing to ensure proper functionality.
o Read and interpret engineered blueprints and technical drawings to guide installations.
o Handle shutdown operations and ensure proper disassembly procedures.
o Technical Expertise
o Apply knowledge of conveyor dynamics and material handling principles to optimize system performance.
o Utilize advanced rigging techniques, bearings, seals, and packing methods.
o Work with bulk material handling systems, ensuring efficient operation.
o Safety & Compliance
o Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
o Follow all company and customer safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
o Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
o Additional Duties
o Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations.
o Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
o Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians or apprentices as needed.

Required Education, Certification & Experience

o Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
o Experience: Minimum 5 years of millwright experience, preferably in a conveyor system-related field or a 24/7 service industry.
Certifications & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License (Required).
