Job Summary: The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new and existing customer accounts within the hydraulic and heavy equipment industry. This individual will utilize their expertise in hydraulic sales and heavy equipment to provide tailored solutions, grow sales, and foster strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have a deep understanding of hydraulic systems, and have hands-on experience with heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities in the hydraulic systems and heavy equipment sectors.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Present and demonstrate product solutions, highlighting key features and benefits to customers.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to clients on hydraulic systems, machinery, and heavy equipment.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in accordance with company policies.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and account performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as customer service and operations, to ensure timely product delivery and service.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to stay informed on the latest industry developments.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in hydraulic systems and heavy equipment sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of hydraulic components, systems, and heavy machinery.
- Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Technical Ability: Ability to understand and explain complex hydraulic systems and equipment in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-Motivated: Highly driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets independently.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
