Job Summary:
The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our imaging center, ensuring smooth workflow, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of patient care. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, experience in healthcare facility management, and knowledge of insurance authorization processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the MRI center, including facility maintenance, equipment functionality, and staff coordination.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and accreditation standards.
- Manage facility budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships for supplies, maintenance, and equipment servicing.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient experience.
- Coordinate with radiology and administrative staff to optimize scheduling and workflow.
- Handle emergency situations, facility issues, and compliance inspections as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-friendly environment.
- Supervise facility staff, conduct training, and foster a positive work culture.
- Oversee the insurance authorization process to ensure timely approvals for imaging services.
- Work closely with billing and front desk teams to streamline pre-authorization and verification procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in healthcare facility management, preferably in radiology or outpatient services.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and facility compliance.
- Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
