As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services and creating personalized experiences for our clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while working in a supportive and vibrant environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Demonstrate expertise in color theory to achieve desired hair color results.
- Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts when required.
- Offer additional services such as nail care, makeup application, and eyelash extensions to enhance the client experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon area.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional recommendations.
- Manage appointments using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, and beauty treatments.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and barbering.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in hair services.
- Experience with nail care and makeup application is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to ongoing professional development.
