QA Tester (Java, Selenium, Playwright)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for enterprise-level applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools and ensure their resolution.
• Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues during development and testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes by integrating test automation into pipelines.
• Research and implement test automation best practices and tools.
• Leverage scripting knowledge to automate repetitive tasks and enhance test efficiency.
• Explore and incorporate tools like Playwright for additional testing capabilities where applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium for test automation.
• Solid experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or JavaScript).
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira, or similar).
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience testing enterprise-level applications and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Playwright or willingness to learn it is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Rate

• Corp-to-Corp (C2C): $52 per hour (only if the candidate has their corporation) GC and USC Only.
• W2 Contract: $44.50 per hour
