Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for enterprise-level applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and system testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools and ensure their resolution.
- Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues during development and testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes by integrating test automation into pipelines.
- Research and implement test automation best practices and tools.
- Leverage scripting knowledge to automate repetitive tasks and enhance test efficiency.
- Explore and incorporate tools like Playwright for additional testing capabilities where applicable
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium for test automation.
- Solid experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or JavaScript).
- Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira, or similar).
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience testing enterprise-level applications and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Playwright or willingness to learn it is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Rate
- Corp-to-Corp (C2C): $52 per hour (only if the candidate has their corporation) GC and USC Only.
- W2 Contract: $44.50 per hour
Salary : $45 - $52
