Openwork is assisting their client, Harris County in their search to fill a Billing Analyst role.
As a Billing Analyst you will oversee the billing and accounting procedures related to various programs and services, including HUD Section 3 and Davis Bacon and Related Acts. The Billing Analyst will establish and maintain accounts receivable records utilizing LCPtracker, B2Gnow or other internal data sources.
Qualifications for the Billing Analyst are :
- Knowledge of Report and billing creation.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Workspaces, and LCPtracker data reports.
- Comprehension and dedication to promoting equity across the department and its programs and services.
- Skilled at working collaboratively with a commitment to serving the public. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and data analytics.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Possess a self-starter mentality and can take initiative.
- Excellent presentation, Data storytelling, and meeting management abilities.
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethical behavior, exercising honesty and integrity, respect, and fairness in the execution of their responsibilities.
- Ability to operate within a program start-up environment and handle associated ambiguity.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and two (2) years of direct experience in budgeting and billing, specifically in the design and creation of financial reports. OR Associate’s degree in a related field and four (4) years of direct experience in budgeting and billing, specifically in the design and creation of financial reports. OR High School Diploma / GED and seven (7) years of direct experience in budgeting and billing, specifically in the design and creation of financial reports.
