Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Milling & Lathe CNC Programmer in Pelzer. In this skilled role, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints, translating them into computer code to instruct the CNC machines how to cut and shape the raw materials into finished parts with precision. In a CNC Programmer job you’ll be responsible for :
Selecting appropriate cutting tools
Monitoring operations
Making adjustments as needed to maintain the desired specifications
Design and implement the software that controls the CNC machines to produce the complex components with precision
Reading and interpreting blueprints
CAD / CAM software proficiency
Program development
Machine setup
Troubleshooting
Quality control
What you’ll need :
Strong understanding of machining principles and processes
Proficient CAD / CAM software, such as Mastercam, solid works, NX
Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages
Problem solving and analytical skills
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine tools
3-5 Years experience as a CNC Programmer
Perks : Monday-Friday
Pay rate is depending on experience
