Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to ll a Mixer job in Enoree. As a Mixer you will be responsible for precisely measuring and combining chemical ingredients, including dyes, according to specific formulas to create consistent batches of colored products, often used in industries like textiles, plastics, or paints, by operating mixing equipment and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities for this Mixer job include :
Accurately weigh and measure raw materials (chemicals and dyes) using scales and measuring devices to follow precise batch formulas.
Start and monitor mixing machines, adjusting settings like temperature, speed, and mixing time to achieve desired consistency and color.
Carefully transfer chemicals into mixing tanks according to the recipe, ensuring proper sequence and volume.
Regularly collect samples of the mixture during the process to test color, consistency, and other relevant parameters against quality standards.
Identify and address any problems that may arise during the mixing process, such as inconsistencies in color or viscosity
Thoroughly clean mixing equipment and work areas after each batch to prevent contamination
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly follow safety protocols when handling hazardous chemicals.
Qualications :
Ability to accurately calculate proportions and measurements
Essential for ensuring precise mixing and maintaining quality standards.
Understanding of mixing equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Familiarity with safety procedures for handling hazardous chemicals.
Ability to follow detailed batch formulas and work orders.
Shift & Work Schedule : 7 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Monday-Friday
Payrate : $16.25
