Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Project Quality Coordinator with a strong background in quality control and a dedication to maintain high standards. in Spartanburg. In this Project Quality Coordinator role, you will provide quality support from project planning to project completion. You will be responsible for inspecting materials, process and products, ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards, implementing quality management processes, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures.

In a Project Quality Coordinator job you’ll be responsible for :
Ensure compliance with ISO, IRIS and AAR relating to the handling of defective material and the monitoring and prevention of defects.
Identify best practice and lead implementation of methods and procedures for handling material that is rejected by customers.
Implement process improvements and establish standardized work instructions.
Issue and analyze reports relating to rejected or returned material to ensure accurate communication among vendors, internal resources and customers. Issue sales orders to ensure tracking
Follow up on all RMAs to ensure the allotted timeline is kept.
Provide training of RMA and other related processes
Develop measures to indicate product rejection performance and assist with continuous improvement to prevent rejections.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work and release products for the shipping process.
Supports and provides input on the customer First Article Inspection process.
What you’ll need :
Ability to perform internal and external audits
Experience with ISO internal audits, IRIS and AAR
Experience with 5s
Bachelors Degree, or 5 years relevant experience.
Proficient at Excel.
