Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an Shipping Manager in Griffin GA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire outgoing shipment process within a warehouse, ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, labeled, and shipped on time to customers, while also managing the warehouse staff involved in the shipping operations and optimizing efficiency through inventory tracking and logistics coordination.
What you will need :
- Computer Skills (Ship Link and P21 experience a plus)
- Forklift Experience
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- 2 Years’ Experience
- Excellent Communication skills
- Able to Secure and Tarp Loads for outgoing shipments
- Able to climb unassisted onto Trailers (Goosenecks) and bed of Trucks (Standard and Flatbed)
- Able to pass DOT Physical – To make occasional pickup / deliveries in company truck locally
- Pass Drug Test
Job Details :
Competitive pay based on experience.
The schedule will be Monday-Friday from 7 : 00AM-4 : 00PM with the possibility of overtime.
