Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Welding Fabricator in Spartanburg. In this role, you will be responsible for welding, grinding, loading workpieces onto the machines, aligning them, and using the welding tools to shape, mold and smooth the material.

In a Welding Fabricator job you’ll be responsible for :
Welding on a Steel Plate
Accurate measuring skills needed use of micrometer
Inspecting the pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
Using an angle grinder to remove burrs and sharp edges from workpieces
Accurately interpreting design plans to determine the necessary cuts, welds, and assembly procedures
Positioning and aligning the metal components to ensure proper fit before welding
What you’ll need :
Proficiency in using an angle grinder
Good hand eye coordination
Proficient in Mig or Tig Welding
CNC experience
Blueprint reading
Metal Cutting and Shaping
Basic Math skills for measurements and calculations
Shift Hours and Work Schedule : 1st shift 7 : 30am-4pm, Monday-Friday (OT as needed)
Pay Rate : $18.00-$24.00 depending on experience.
