Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator/Material Handler
Job Description:
- Utilizing a SITDOWN FORKLIFT to load and unload trucks safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Stocking materials as assigned.
- Build loads for delivery.
- Ensure the customer is always serviced first by providing a safe, timely and efficient delivery service of lumber materials.
- Check the load to ensure it is properly secured and the correct material and amount of material is being delivered before leaving the yard.
- Keep the lumber yard clean, well-organized, and safe.
Requirements:
- Working in a lumber yard (This is partly an outside working environment) Must have previous work experience working outside
- 2-3 years of Sit-down Forklift experience
- Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
Shift: 7am- Finish (10–12-hour days based on order volume)
Pay: $18.00/hr.
