A "Day in the Life" of the HR System and Compliance Specialist
A typical day for the HR System and Compliance Specialist involves organizing and updating HR systems, ensuring all documents and data are accurate and easily accessible. You'll work on improving processes, managing files, and supporting various HR projects to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Clean up and organize files on SharePoint to ensure ease of access and proper categorization.
- Revise and update the Employee Handbook, ensuring it reflects current policies and regulations.
- Revamp the SharePoint site to improve usability and document management.
- Migrate all vendor contracts and Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) to Contractworks for better organization and tracking.
- Digitize offsite HR files to improve efficiency.
- Conduct an audit of Lattice data and perform necessary cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Set up workflows within the Lattice platform to streamline HR processes and improve team collaboration.
- Organize and update old training modules in Schoox, ensuring they are current and aligned with company needs.
- Flexibility to assist with other HR-related tasks as needed, ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with HRIS systems and other relevant software tools to improve HR processes and systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Familiarity with contract management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements preferred.
This is a temporary role with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role if the need arises.
