Job Description

Description : Position Summary :

OFS Drivers will be responsible for making daily donation pickups. They will also be called upon to make product deliveries to organizations, if appropriate. All drivers will be responsible for unloading their own trucks when returning to the warehouse and ensuring the product is stored appropriately.

Essential Functions :

Operating 26' box truck
Loading, delivery, and pick-up of various food items
Safe delivery of food supplies and goods to / from our warehouse
Assist with keeping warehouse upkeep

Requirements :

Education and / or Experience :

1 years driving experience preferred

Experience working in a warehouse environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Effective communication skills and customer service focused.

Forklift certification a plus.

Ability to connect with diverse types of organizations : schools, businesses, government, faith organizations, etc.

Strong computer skills and the ability / willingness to learn a new database system

Special Requirements :

Class B license or greater required with air brake endorsement

Occasional travel required for meetings, events, and conferences

Flexibility in working hours for occasional special events after-hours or weekend activities

Willingness to volunteer for other OFS duties that don’t fall under regular job duties

Working Conditions and Physical Demands :

Ability to lift 20-50 pounds

Must be able to pass drug screen and background check with satisfactory results. MVR must show no license revocation, suspension, DUI / DWI, careless or reckless driving

Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Certification
