- Financial Planning and Analysis: The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while fostering a culture of transparency, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Financial Strategies: Lead the development of long-term financial strategies to support the mission and goals of Operation Kindness.
- Annual Budget Development: Coordinate the preparation and development of the organization's annual budget.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, maintain the integrity of financial reporting, and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and nonprofit accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, GAAP, and non-profit accounting and IRS regulations related to 501(c)(3) organizations.
