Operation Open Arms is a small business in Louisville, KY. Our mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable children and allow them to thrive by providing a loving, nurturing and stable home environment. OOA is a licensed and nationally accredited private foster care and adoption agency. OOA is privately funded and clients chose to utilize our services.
We are currently seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) case manager working with women who have been incarcerated or are incarcerated and in need of a temporary home for their children, support and case management. The position requires a master's degree in social work (or enrolled in a master's program) or another human service field. The scheduled hours are flexible, one afternoon or morning in the office per week is required.
The case manager is responsible for working with the biological parent and the child's case manager coordinating services and goal planning. The case manager will work with inmates in prison or jail.
