We are seeking compassionate, non-judgmental, and highly empathic individuals to join our specialized team of clinicians as a part-time (~10 hours / week) PMHNP at Operation PAR’s Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) program in Clearwater, 33760. ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION :
Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and / or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.
SCHEDULE : (PT~10 hours / week)
Two weekdays (7 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
This position practices clinical care delivery under the guidelines of the State Board of Nursing per physician protocol. Responsible for the assessment, treatment planning implementation and follow-up of referred clients. Conducts new patient admissions, manages inductions and ongoing problem cases, and conducts annual medical reviews.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Coordinates all medical admissions and performs physical examinations.
- Performs initial psychological screening and makes treatment recommendations.
- Maintains high standard of clinical documentation according to charting process.
- Coordinates the ongoing medical and psychological services provided.
- Maintains oversight of resident pharmacy needs.
- Participates in regularly scheduled supervision meetings with Medical Director and Program Physician.
- Acts as an integral part of multi-disciplinary team.
- Provides face to face interviews as requested.
- Manages patient care within the guidelines of safe and cost effective measures.
- Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
