What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wastewater Management Professional position at Operational Technical Services?
We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Operational Technical Services.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in water treatment and a proven track record of success in operating and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Operate, inspect, clean, repair, replace and maintain various pieces of equipment including but not limited to, piping, valves, motors, grinders, pumps, aerators, screens, compressors, filters, clarifiers, UV disinfection system, chemical feed systems and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating equipment, washing process equipment, mowing, edging, and weed abatement.
- Support and/or perform collection system inspections and cleaning.
Requirements:
- Current California Grade I, II, III Wastewater Certification.
- 1-5 years of previous experience in a similar position.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
