TITLE : Industrial Wastewater Operator
SALARY : $25 - $30 / hr
SCHEDULE : 12-hour rotating shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, weekends and holidays as required
OVERVIEW :
We seek a skilled and dedicated Industrial Wastewater Operator to join our team in Ellabell, GA. The successful candidate will operate and maintain wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operational Oversight : Manage and control equipment and processes that remove harmful materials and chemicals from wastewater.
- Monitoring and Reporting : Keep detailed water quality records and other key indicators. Report any operational concerns or project needs to the Site Supervisor.
- Maintenance : Operate and maintain pumps, motors, and other equipment. Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Quality Control : Take samples and conduct analytical tests to ensure water quality. Adjust chemical levels as needed.
- System Monitoring : Use computerized systems to supervise plant processes. Read instruments, meters, and gauges to ensure meticulous equipment function.
- Emergency Planning : Develop and implement emergency reaction protocols.
- Compliance Documentation : Maintain records to document compliance with all regulations.
- Housekeeping : Maintain cleanliness and organization per 5S Standards.
