Data Entry Specialist – Melrose Park, IL

$21-$23/Hour - Plus time and a half unlimited overtime

We are a thriving freight forwarding company that is looking for a Data Entry Specialist to add to our team. The main goal of this position is to ensure correct documentation of all our operational files to maintain our high standard of data quality. You will be responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, report generation, and record keeping. 

Duties included but not limited to:

• Input data into an inventory tracking system and input entity changes, such as name and address changes, on a computer system
• Perform general clerical work including filing, sorting, batching, or grouping documents
• Retrieve documents from file documents, associate documents with existing files
• Develop and maintain data standards, procedures, and training documents as required
• Recommend creative approaches to visualizing association data and data use
• Work with our billing and quality department to organize the workflow of data entry
• Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and standards
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Microsoft Office experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate efficiently
•  Ability to maintain detailed records and to compile reports
• Capacity to verify documents and forms for accuracy and completeness
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
