QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with human resources programs or comparable experience in a public education environment preferred.
- High level of proficiency in applied technology (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to prepare and receive detailed information and apply appropriate decision-making skills.
- Demonstrate personal integrity and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Self-motivated, ability to handle multiple tasks, demonstrate leadership ability and work collaboratively.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and work with diverse groups.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) required.

SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$32,513 – CP4
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the 2025-2026 school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process and record all Operations department personnel actions including new hires, transfers, resignations, promotions/demotions, campus & shift transfers, rate changes, stipends.
- Responsible for the completion of the I-9 Form Part 2; track & maintain I-9 reverification process.
- Request & communicate any badging needs (lost, faded, broken, door access, etc.) to district’s badging department & Operations staff. Maintain accurate badging monthly records.
- Assist employees in providing verification of employment letters.
- Cross train and serve as a backup for other department administrative assistants.
- Assist and participate in recruitment events and activities.
- Answer and respond to incoming calls, take reliable messages, assist employees with any HR related inquiries, route to appropriate staff.
- File, store, and scan HR related documents and verifies scanned documents are clear and legible.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
- Collaborate regularly with the assistant director of Human Resources.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
