Position Summary
OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a full-time Production Planner to work in our Pennsauken, NJ facility. The position will be responsible for planning and scheduling production work orders for multiple departments within our 180,000 square foot manufacturing facility.
Production Planner Responsibilities
• Utilize Oracle ERP System to plan, release and distribute work orders in time to meet production and service part demands based on the required due dates.
• Manage item detail records within Oracle ERP system to provide accurate planning data.
• Review planner reports to identify item shortages, correct lead times, on-hand quantities, overdue orders and etc.
• Review Engineering Change Orders and implement any required changes.
• Work with production and manufacturing supervisors to address details related to schedule changes.
• Work with Inventory Control to identify and justify inventory inaccuracies.
Production Planner Job Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with an ERP planning system
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field a plus
Production Planner Physical/Work Environments
• Employee will primarily be working in a factory environment.
• Sitting and standing for an extended period of time
• Some walking on the factory floor to communication with production personnel
