Shipper
Position Summary
OPEX Corporation is looking for a Shipper to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. We are looking for a worker who can commit to a full-time schedule during our Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM shift and occasional Saturday half day shifts. The worker will be responsible for shipping both domestic and international, parcel and freight shipments.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage documentation to ensure a timely delivery of shipments, including international shipments
- Keeps records of all shipping and receiving materials
- Ensures proper packaging and shipping procedures are being followed
- Verifies accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipments
- Pick parts orders for Customer and Technician shipments
- Complete orders in inventory/enterprise system (Oracle) and pack shipments
- Replenish Material Handling machine with inventory when needed Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior shipping/receiving experience
- Experience with UPS software systems is required
- Previous Oracle experience is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills required Ability to interact via telephone with co-workers and field technicians
Physical/Work Environments
- Worker will be working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to maneuver a job site, including small spaces in around our equipment
- Worker must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Worker must be able to stand throughout duration of their shift
- Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur on the job
- Employee may be required to work overtime (extended shift or weekends) as a result of high demand
