Cape Cod Eye Surgery and Laser Center (CCESLC) is an ambulatory surgery center located in Sandwich, MA. Our primary goal is to provide eye care of the highest quality to the Cape Cod community and provide unparalleled patient care delivery in the most cost-effective manner possible. CCE SLC surgeons provide advanced specialty laser and surgical care for cataracts, glaucoma, retinal and corneal disorders.
We have a per diem opening in our Sandwich location to assist the physician and registered nurse in rendering professional care to patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures within the center, in accordance with established procedures. This role works under the direct supervision of the registered nurse and will function cooperatively with physicians and staff exhibiting teamwork characteristics. The schedule is per diem Tuesday -Thursday (varied days). Each shift is typically 8 to10 hours and the typical need is generally 2 to 3 days per month.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Completed an accredited educational program for surgical technologists.
- Maintains a surgical technologist credential administered by a nationally recognized surgical technologist certifying body (preferred).
- If not certified; the surgical technician has been employed in the surgical technician role since July 2013.
- Demonstrates a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness toward co-workers.
- Must maintain basic life support certification.
- Must maintain and comply with patient confidentiality and integrity policy on all matters.
