Exciting opportunity for a trained, licensed, board certified / eligible Anterior Segment (Cornea preferred) Ophthalmologist to join a multi service line practice in a lively Long Island community!
Practice :
- Skilled team of 14 ophthalmologists, 1 optometrist, skilled administrators, scribes, technicians and surgical coordinators
- Practice is part of a large 55 physician group of specialists across Nassau and Suffolk Counties
- Services in this location include Retina, Cornea, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics, LASIK, Dry Eye, Diabetic Eye Care and Primary Care Vision
- 6 OR ambulatory surgery center dedicated to eyes
- Seeing patients 40 hours a week, inclusive of surgical time
- Full technician and scribe support, which adjusts based on volume
- State-of-the-art equipment and technology for precise diagnostics and procedures
- Mentors available to support growth in surgery and specialty
Location :
Rockville Center is in western Long Island just 25 miles from Manhattan. The area boasts a lively downtown with a variety of restaurants, cafes, boutique shops and entertainment options with a notable nightlife. In addition, it is in close vicinity to many outdoor parks and beaches. Rockville Centre is part of a highly regarded school district which ranks among the top in the region for academics, art and athletics.
Benefits :
Base salary : $300,000 - $400,000
