THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to join our team as a Prior Authorization Specialist. Our Prior Authorization Specialist is responsible for accurately identifying retinal injectable patients. This includes counseling and registering patients, confirming patient eligibility, and obtaining pre-authorizations for upcoming retinal injection appointments. You’ll play a vital role in the patients’ experience with OCLI.
OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU
Review appointments to confirm that correct injections are booked in appropriate timeframe.
Follow up on status of patient copay assistance.
Confirm the results of Benefits Investigation (BI) and entering pertinent information into patient chart.
Confirming status of patient eligibility and approval for copayment assistance.
Maintain proper inventory.
Assist with tracking patients who have been approved and have copayment assistance cards and applying funds to charges within PM system.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
