Job Overview
We are an extremely friendly, high end, oculoplastic surgery office seeking a skilled RN to work with our existing RN to provide care for pre-op/PACU patients, circulate in our OR and handle administrative tasks.
We have 1-2 OR days/week, these OR days typically comprise of 4-6 patients under MAC anesthesia. It is a very reasonably paced day, with a healthy patient population, any patient with significant risk factors are not candidates for our outpatient office-based surgery center. Experience/skill starting IVs is very important.
The job is full-time, non-OR days will involve mainly administrative tasks to help maintain our compliance. Some days, we will ask for help in our clinic if needed.

Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition post-surgery.
- Administer medications, start and manage intravenous (IV) lines.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized discharge planning for each patient.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, including medication administration and recovery expectations.
- Assist with some minor procedures as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications
- Must be friendly!
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Previous experience in PACU, Pre-OP, or similar critical care settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient safety practices.
- Ability to perform coding for patient records and documentation accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in nursing care.

Pay: $44.00 - $47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
