Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, medical terminology, and ophthalmology to support our healthcare facility.
Duties:
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination in medical settings.
- Coordinate patient care activities and appointments efficiently.
- Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Utilize Epic or similar systems for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Assist with inhalation therapy procedures under supervision.
- Apply physiology knowledge to support medical staff in delivering optimal care.
- Support optical services by coordinating appointments and assisting patients.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in aseptic technique application.
- Experience in ophthalmology or related healthcare field is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care principles and practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation.
- Ability to work with similar electronic medical record systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
