Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintainng, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes. This role requires a combination of mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to effectively manage irrigation projects from start to finish.
Duties
- Maintain various types of irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, lay pipes, and set up irrigation components.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules are followed.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and system maintenance.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand the workings of various irrigation systems.
- Experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
- Knowledge of how to effectively irrigate different types of gardens and landscapes.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
