Junior Software Product Manager

As the Technical Product Manager at Opiniion, you will play a key role in defining and executing the product roadmap for our property management software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in product management within the tech industry, a strong background in UX/UI design, and a demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Strategy and Market Research

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer pain points, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
• Engage with customers through interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions to understand their needs and preferences.
• Define and communicate the product’s value proposition to ensure market differentiation and customer satisfaction.

User Experience and Usability

• Collaborate with UX/UI design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance customer experience.
• Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in design and functionality.
• Ensure accessibility compliance by adhering to relevant standards and best practices.

Business Viability and Financial Analysis

• Align product initiatives with Opiniion’s strategic goals to contribute to overall business success.
• Evaluate the financial implications of product decisions, including pricing strategies, cost analysis, and revenue projections.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure product viability and alignment with business requirements.

Product Development and Feasibility

• Break down product features into actionable tasks for the development team, ensuring clarity and alignment with the product vision.
• Define clear, concise, and testable acceptance criteria for each feature to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain open communication with the development team throughout the implementation process, providing support and clarifications as needed.

Agile Development & Project Management

• Implement and champion Agile development methodologies to ensure efficient and iterative product development.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Utilize project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or similar platforms for task management and collaboration.

Metrics, Analytics, and Continuous Improvement

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and user satisfaction.
• Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize product features and development strategies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 3-4 years in the tech industry, with a focus on product management.
• UX/UI Expertise: Demonstrated experience in user experience and user interface design, with proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
• Agile: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement practices.
• User-Centric Mindset: Empathy for users, with a focus on identifying and solving user problems.
• Curiosity and Optimism: A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn, coupled with an optimistic approach to problem-solving and innovation.
• Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Software Development Experience: A basic understanding of how code works.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Design, or equivalent experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
