What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health Specialist position at OPmobility?

As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will play a key role in contributing to the site's EHS program, focusing on areas such as safety, working conditions, environmental protection, and energy management.
Your responsibilities will include identifying unsafe conditions and environmental risks, recommending action plans, performing safety audits, contributing to top safety observation programs, and conducting shop floor inspections related to EHS work. You will also collaborate with management and the MRO buyer to source and validate personal protective equipment.
In addition, you will participate in establishing prevention schemes with subcontractors and maintenance teams, check conformity of new installations, production means, and chemical products used on site, and ensure that all activities comply with EHS laws and regulations.
We are looking for a recent graduate or currently enrolled student in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field. You should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a basic understanding of EHS laws and regulations is a plus.
