Purchasing Internship
Responsibilities :
Create purchase orders
Review pending purchase requests ensuring Plastic Omnium process is being followed
Review discrepant invoices and take necessary action for closure.
Request quotes from supply base.
Activities / Tasks :
Provides support for purchasing activities in line with the Plastic Omnium auto exterior governance rules, purchasing policy and in the respect of the processes in place.
Provides assistance to plant buyer to complete cost analysis and comparison of purchasing conditions.
Support daily Plastic Omnium creation / Plastic Omnium management process.
Support the order to pay process, proposing solutions for recurrent purchases.
Participate in negotiations to ensure project goals / costs are achieved.
Support data collection requirements for new supplier setup / banking modifications.
Follows and reports the Maintenance Repairs Operation performance through the standard KPIs via monthly reporting.
Qualifications :
Able to start this internship right away.
Able to work minimum of 30-40 minimum hours a week.
Able to work for 6 months till 1 year commitment with a possibility of internship being extended based on performance.
Must be able to work on site at the plant location.
Must be currently working on a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, purchasing or Finance.
