Supply Chain Internship

Responsibilities :

  • Measure and detail incoming packaging specs from all tier 2 suppliers.
  • Need to gather data and create data base.
  • Need also to define WIP packaging for all parts produced internally and update work instructions and layout.

Activities / Tasks :

  • Record data (dimensions, density, materials, etc) related to incoming goods
  • Work between departments to establish flow of product that meets needs of the plant.
  • Work with Engineering to define racks and packaging needs for quality parts
  • Update and write work instructions
  • Work independently
  • Work with Logistics to create database of packaging detail.
  • Work with suppliers to create Logistic Agreements

    • Qualifications :

  • Able to start this internship right away.
  • Able to work minimum of 20-40 minimum hours a week.
  • Able to work for 6 – 1 year commitment with a possibility of internship being extended based on performance.
  • Must be able to work on site at the plant location.
  • Must be currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing or Business.
