SITE SUPPLY CHAIN APPRENTICE

Supply Chain Internship
Responsibilities:
- Measure and detail incoming packaging specs from all tier 2 suppliers.
- Need to gather data and create data base.
- Need also to define WIP packaging for all parts produced internally and update work instructions and layout.
Activities/Tasks:
- Record data (dimensions, density, materials, etc) related to incoming goods
- Work between departments to establish flow of product that meets needs of the plant.
- Work with Engineering to define racks and packaging needs for quality parts
- Update and write work instructions
- Work independently
- Work with Logistics to create database of packaging detail.
- Work with suppliers to create Logistic Agreements
Qualifications:
- Able to start this internship right away.
- Able to work minimum of 20-40 minimum hours a week.
- Able to work for 6 – 1 year commitment with a possibility of internship being extended based on performance.
- Must be able to work on site at the plant location.
- Must be currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing or Business.
