What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reporting Data Analyst position at OPN Healthcare?
Reporting Data Analyst’s primary responsibility is to collect, analyze, and present data through comprehensive reports and dashboards. A sophisticated understanding of SQL, modes of central tendency, and logical problem solving is crucial for this role. This position is accountable to the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce formatted tables, charts and graphics using visualization software
- Present contextualized and concise reports based on analysis to management
- Maintain and update monthly PowerBI reports
- Perform data extracts, transformations, and loads using various tools
- Perform ad hoc queries from SQL Databases
- Extract crucial healthcare and business insights from data
- Coordinate with cross-departmental team members to produce final reporting packages
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-5 years’ experience in data analytics, healthcare is a significant plus
- Significant experience with data analytics tools and software (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBl, etc.)
- Understanding of SQL, RDBMS (SQL Server), and Python is a necessity
- Strong Data Contextualization and Data Visualization skills requirement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listening, verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments, and adhere to timelines
