Job Description : We are looking for a positive, energetic Payroll Assistant to support building and maintaining a service-oriented and dependable reputation with current and future clients. This is an entry level, full-time position that offers great opportunity for development and growth for driven individuals. Duties will include being a key resource for payroll-related queries from external business partners, reviewing timesheets, and calculating payrolls and processing them to completion. Our Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail oriented, with great time management skills and resilience and flexibility when managing the day-to-day tasks needed to support our commitment to service excellence. We use a powerful application to make this process great for us and our clients. Prior experience in accounting, finance or payroll related fields is a plus.
Responsibilities : \tEnsure payrolls are calculated, reviewed, and processed on a timely basis.
tFollow a set schedule for each clients payroll calendar.
tCreate system-based and custom reports for external partners.
tResearch and follow up on payroll-related questions with an end goal of resolving problems.
Qualifications
tExperience in accounting, finance or payroll fields a plus.
tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
tSolid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
tProblem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
tDetail-oriented and organized.
tExcellent time management skills and the ability prioritize and adapt to changing needs.
tA desire to make a positive IMPACT on our external business partners.
