What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retirement Plans Director position at OPOC.us?
OPOC.us (One Point of Care) is seeking a full-time Retirement Plans Director to join the team in our Worthington, OH location. This role is responsible for producing new business in our Retirement Services department as well as servicing existing accounts. The ideal candidate is a positive, high-energy individual who has solid industry knowledge, excellent oral and written communication skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent knowledge of trends and regulatory changes, the ability to assess client and participant needs and deliver a positive customer experience through proactive guidance and education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Produces Retirement Services revenue through sales to new and existing clients with emphasis on small to mid-size companies.
• Assists in providing service to clients according to their needs, retaining them as clients.
• Participates in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel.
• Manages overall Client relationships and is supported by day-to-day account management.
• Applies industry technologies to new sales, additional sales to existing clients and account service.
• Provides direction in account transfer situations.
• Develops and maintains interdivision/ intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, with 1 year of related experience, and appropriate licensing required
OR;
• High School diploma with 4 years of related experience, and appropriate licensing required
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 licensing required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for sales and extremely goal oriented with the ability to work independently
• Driven, Disciplined, achievement-focused, coachable, and professional
