We are looking for a positive, energetic Tax Administrative Assistant to support building and maintaining a service-oriented and dependable reputation with current and future clients. Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax processes and will be self-motivated and detail oriented, with great time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while still managing the day-to-day tasks needed to support our clients.

- Determining tax liability or collecting taxes from individuals or business firms.
- Preparing tax organizers and engagement letters.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns.
- Providing administrative support.
- Ensure filing deadlines are understood and met.
- Supervise the collection of taxes, fees and assessments.
- Maintain records and files.
- Prepare reports.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Solid understanding of tax processes and regulations (1 year experience preferred)
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
- Prior administrative experience.
