Are you currently interested in being a daily substitute teacher?
We are currently seeking qualified daily substitute teachers for charter and private schools in Kissimmee, FL. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive school setting and join a passionate team of educators. A daily substitute teacher is responsible for providing classroom coverage for a teacher who is absent for a short period of time. The daily substitute teacher works the regular hours of the absent classroom teacher during his/her absence.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Effective classroom management and organization skills for effective instruction
- Effective communication with parents and school counselors on student progress
- Ability to use tact, discretion, and confidentiality with student and school information.
- Ability to effectively interact with a diverse community of learners, educators, and families.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (60 credits of completed college coursework or Associate’s Degree preferred)
- At least 18 years old (21 years old preferred)
- At least 1 year working with children in an educational setting.
- Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills
- Takes initiative and is resourceful in problem-solving
- Positive interpersonal skills and can work well on a team
Pay:
$110 - $150 per day
