As a Caregiver, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and inspire young minds while enjoying exciting activities throughout Davis to Utah counties. This temporary summer position offers full-time hours and the potential for permanent employment.
Ideal for college students, teachers, paraprofessionals, and anyone seeking a rewarding summer job, this is a chance to make a lasting impact and gain valuable experience. Many of our Summer Program employees have gone on to leadership roles within OPPO and other organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Current and active driver's license
- Proof of current auto registration and current auto insurance
Ideal Qualifications:
- Shows compassion, patience, and positive attitude, and provides excellent care
- Properly manages and implements prescribed behavioral plans with aggressive, self-abuse, and non-compliant individuals
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive supervision of the summer program clients- Documents timely daily client notes and monthly reports within Company software
- Supervising, planning, and participating in activities with clients.
- Support clients with specific needs and activities of daily living (ADL), bathrooms, hygiene, eating, etc.
- Stays accessible and in contact with management and reports any concerns or incidents in a timely manner
- Has access to reliable transportation, and provides proof of minimum auto insurance limits and current auto registration
- Keeps required certifications updated and maintains personal compliance.
- Will be responsible to transport clients or traveling to client locations within employees' assigned working zone.
- May be requested to travel to a client location outside employees' work zone as needed.
- Maintains health and safety of clients in outdoor summer conditions and summer activities
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Is outside during extremes in weather (heat of summer day)
- Must be comfortable in a swimming pool assisting others
- Properly manage aggressive/non-compliant individuals and be able to implement prescribed behavioral programs.
- Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use mechanical lifts where required and transfer individuals correctly
