Vocational Rehabilitation
Summary: The Team Lead (TL) for Vocational Rehab (full time only) serves as a liaison between clients, parents, vendors, counselors, and their supervisor to ensure the highest level of care is provided to clients. The Team Lead’s primary responsibility is to reduce the workload of their supervisor (normally the VR Manager or designee) while increasing said supervisor's capacity. This is done by doing anything from completing unassigned direct service billable hours to helping schedule to assisting with billing to name a few things.
Role Expectations:
Assists with new clients and emergency shifts to ensure full coverage- Responsible for filling in shifts when requested by the supervisor regardless of the client location.
- This role will be responsible to work their own VR shifts in addition to leadership responsibilities.
- Constant Communication with your supervisor for any updates, clarification and guidance.
- Scheduling VR clients according to client needs, assists with monitoring staff hours.
- Promotes a positive work environment while keeping services safe, happy, and healthy for clients and employees.
- Assists VR Manager in completing 93s and doing bi-weekly check-ins with clients to maintain service quality.
- On-site visits last 45 min - 1 hour to collect proper data to complete form 93 (93’s ARE DONE WITH THE CLIENT).
- At least 75% of work must be billable hours (worked directly with clients). At times, up to 51% of billable hours can be pre-approved.
- Attempts contact with WSA’s within 24 hours of being assigned by the VR Manager and assists with onboarding new clients and maintaining client compliance. Completing WSA within 3 weeks of being assigned.
- WSA’s assessments are completed within 8 hours or less.(additional time must be pre approved)
- Coordinate alongside VR Manager to outline WSA’s outcomes and discuss staffing for future client services.
- Discoveries are contacted within 24 hours of being assigned and completed within 60 - 90 days.
- Completes JD/JP services in a timely manner: All TWE JD cases are placed in a job within 10 hours of service or less
- Other services (SJBT, SE, CE) are placed in a job in less than 25 service hours and in less than 2 months.
- Coordinating training and shadowing for new hires to maintain a level of high quality support for our clientele.
- Dresses professionally according to specific situations/clients, following the company dress code
- Assists manager with completion of staff monthly reports
- Attends all assigned meetings and training
- First point of contact for client families/guardians/care teams
- Be accessible to employees that you supervise
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Honest, motivated, hardworking, communicates clearly and often, and a problem solver
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Access to personal reliable transportation
- Supervisor experience
- CPR Certification within 60 days of hire
- SOAR training within 180 days of hire
- ACRE/Customized Employment Certification within 180 days of hire
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.- Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use mechanical lifts where required and transfer individuals correctly
