Towne Insurance is hiring a Quality Control & Training Specialist. This position will be responsible for the daily review of our quality control checklist items within the Personal and Commercial lines of business, the training & education of employees on our agency procedures and EPIC workflows, and the monitoring, review and assignments of EPIC download activities.

About the Role
- Works with Agency Leadership to provide training support and to develop and maintain quality control programs.
- Conducts account audit activities, as established by quality control programs, and conveys results and corrective information to department managers.
- Provides training support during Agency acquisitions and Epic conversions.
- Communicate with Account Managers & Producers regarding actions to be taken to clear suspended download items.
- Assign policies, eDocs, and claims downloaded and report any download issues to carriers in a timely manner.
- Add and maintain insurance company information in Epic, including AM Best Ratings.
- Works with the Compliance Officer to assist with audit reviews, implement programs and to ensure agency compliance.
- Maintains detailed knowledge of EPIC system & products and industry best practices.
- Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience you’ll need:
- Minimum of three years EPIC knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent business process, operations, and automation knowledge from an Agency perspective
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- EPIC Applied Systems product knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to review processes and procedures, identify opportunities, and assist in the development and recommendation of solutions
Bonus points if you have:
- Prior supervisory and coaching and development experience
- Prior training experience
- Prior experience with EPIC
- CIC or CPCU designation
