Job is:
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
- Maintain internal auditing procedures at the assigned school site(s) making sure that compliance is met as it relates to Student Records and the Compliance Department Student File Manual
- Coordinate with teachers and other administrative staff to implement systems ensuring minimal risk of audit issues
- Enroll all incoming students and assist support staff with the creation of student files for all incoming students ensuring all student information is correctly entered into the internal student information system during the time of enrollment up until withdrawal from the school site
- Review and monitor monthly reports sent from the Student Record Analyst to ensure compliance
- Prepare for monthly audits, ensuring the integrity of student information, student work, and attendance uploaded to the student information system
- Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to modify daily procedures to strengthen data management and entry at the school site
You’ll need the following minimum requirements:
- Knowledge of state auditing independent study requirements for public charter schools preferred
- Teacher, coordinator, or other staff familiar with student file maintenance, auditing, accounting background, or education regulations background preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite
Pay:
$19.00 per hour - No degree
$21.00 per hour with BA/BS
$21-$24 per hour with 30 day sub permit
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare initial student file and paperwork (immunization records, planning guide and all enrollment paperwork).
- Obtain official student records from referring schools (Official transcripts, immunization records and state testing scores).
- Inspects and reports on status of student files upon student withdrawal; may perform audits as requested.
- Prepares reports for Assistant Principal, Principal, and Director of Instructional Operations per set schedule
- Additional duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced in ISIStrac or similar database system.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow up on tasks and commitments and give updates as needed.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Knowledge of state auditing independent study requirements for public charter schools.
- Teacher, coordinator, or other staff familiar with student file maintenance, auditing, accounting background, or education regulations background.
- Proficiency with computers and quick learner of in-company policies and of student record and attendance system.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree
- California 30-day Substitute permit preferred
