Head Start is seeking a creative, organized individual to join our teaching team in meeting the physical, cognitive, and social/emotional needs of toddlers enrolled in the Early Head Start center-based program. As a Classroom Aide you will:
Head Start is seeking a creative, organized individual to join our teaching team in meeting the physical, cognitive, and social/emotional needs of toddlers enrolled in the Early Head Start center-based program. As a Classroom Aide you will:
- Assist Early Head Start Classroom Teachers in daily classroom activities and working with children and parents in a center-based program
- Assist in the set up and conducting of planned daily classroom activities, classroom cleaning, and maintenance of adult/child classroom ratios
- Assist in maintaining full enrollment and viable wait lists by participating in outreach opportunities and promoting the program in the community
This is a year-round position.
This position has a PENDING HIRE.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or HSED; one year experience working with infant/toddler children; valid New York State driver’s license.
