Responsibilities:
- Travel with sales team as expert in fixed income markets and Angel Oak products
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and portfolio management teams to design tailored marketing materials for client meetings and sales efforts
- Take active participation in all aspects of the new business process, including but not limited to; responding to ad hoc client inquiries, providing specialist product or market input to RFPs, creation of bespoke and customized presentation materials, market analysis, portfolio modelling and assisting with the onboarding process
- Work on various intra and cross team-related projects to enhance and improve all aspects of the fixed income processes appropriately address client needs
- Publish insights on market events and competitor updates for internal and external audiences with a focus on the public fixed income markets
- Perform original research on public markets to support messaging and thought leadership
- Write commentary and perform analysis to support client inquiries and regular strategy servicing
- Own regular reporting, marketing commentary production, required to support Angel Oak’s suite of public solutions
- Stay current with industry events/developments and industry literature, and evaluate research provided by outside entities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Series 7 and 63 preferred
- Experience in fixed income
- Experience either covering clients or in a CPM/Strategist role
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral, to internal and external audiences across levels of seniority
- Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization and build strong relationships with team members, managers, and senior executives
- Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
