Dixon Valve is looking for entry-level CNC Operator Trainees to join its manufacturing team in Chestertown, MD. No previous CNC operator or machine operator experience is required. Dixon will train you! Responsibilities:
- Operates CNC lathes
- Inspection of parts
- Primary focus is on production, product quality and accuracy
Competencies:
- Ability to read blue prints and mechanical drawings
- Ability to read measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to use basic shop mathematics specifically addition and subtraction
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and manuever 50 lbs. consistently over the course of a shift
- Ability to work in a fast paced operation/manufacturing environment
