General Summary and Purpose:
The Data and Analytics (DnA) team partners with all aspects of the business to turn data into actionable intelligence. The DnA team provides innovative, scalable, efficient solutions to serve our clients’ and shareholders’ best interest. The DnA team is comprised of a product team, business intelligence team, data science team, and data engineering team.
As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will work directly with other data colleagues and business stakeholders to provide solutions to business challenges that support both short-term and long-term priorities for the organization. Solutions will range from traditional to more modern, using interactive business intelligence and analytic tools. Data driven solutions will be provided to both structured and unstructured business challenges. You will craft insights, create visualizations, and contribute to data products that identify business opportunity and influence client experiences.
You will report to the Business Intelligence Manager
You Will:
- Communicate data driven solutions and analytical results through compelling, clear visualizations.
- Simplify and present complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental team members including business analysts, data engineers and data scientists to deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Develop concise analyses quantifying the impact of key business initiatives using various data sources.
- Develop technical documentation that includes architecture diagrams, process flow diagrams, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Respond to ad hoc requests, quickly applying efficient SQL queries or python notebooks.
- Contribute to the roadmap for business intelligence and data transformation solutions for the team.
You Have:
- Overall Experience: 5 or more years’ experience in business intelligence, database management, ETL Development or related experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- BI Tools: Proficiency in PowerBI and providing robust business intelligence reports connecting to distinct cloud databases.
- Data Wrangling: Highly proficient in writing SQL queries and python from scratch that combine data from several sources to the correct format for further analysis, visualization, or reporting.
- Data Visualization: Create rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to leaders and make data-driven stories come to life through visuals.
- Business Acumen: Understand the bigger picture to identify opportunities to provide solutions to complex business challenges. Able to conduct requirement gathering, user testing, and final state presentations.
- Detail Orientation: Able to optimize queries, deploy into production, and manage change control.

Target Compensation:
The target base salary range for this position is $70,500 - $87,300.
Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications.
Victory Capital Management’s total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
