The Card Payment Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our Visa and Mastercard debit and prepaid card programs within Choice Bank and through our Fintech Programs where we offer Banking as a Service relationships.
This role will own the onboarding of new card programs, changes to existing card programs, and ensure required reporting is accurate and timely. The Card Payment Operations Specialist will partner with cross-functional teams to review and report on client needs, identify, and research product capabilities, as it relates to card related activities in delivering a modern banking experience. This individual will support our principal membership regulations, card programs, and deliver products that help our partners deliver one-of-a-kind solutions.
The Card Payment Operations Specialist will be a network liaison, be responsible for network card setup, quarterly reporting with Visa and Mastercard, and support invoicing.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain compliant policies and procedures aligned with Choice Bank risk appetite.
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all regulations and reporting requirements for principal membership with card networks.
- Onboard new card programs for BaaS clients, ordering new BINs and ensuring operational effectiveness.
- Unwind card programs for BaaS clients, returning and deleting BINs as appropriate.
- Promote, teach, and educate customers and associates through VISA and Mastercard program curriculum and initiatives as well as resolve VISA and Mastercard related issues for customers.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of FIS Horizon Banking Core and FIS Payments One, preferred but not required
- Knowledge and experience with processors such as Galileo, Lithic, and FISERV
- Experience with card networks: Visa, Mastercard, Accel, etc.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Solid critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience with required competencies

The base salary for this role will begin at $37,980 and up to $56,950 Annually. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. The base salary may vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, experience and geographic location. Full time employees are also eligible for a competitive bonus and benefits package.
