POSITION OVERVIEW

We're embarking on an exciting venture, introducing a groundbreaking concept that merges hospitality with the exhilaration of pickleball. As we pioneer this new experience, we're in search of an enthusiastic General Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the charge in establishing the Hamlin House experience from the ground up. If you're a seasoned hospitality professional with a flair for ensuring operational excellence and curating unforgettable guest experiences, your journey begins here. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff members to deliver outstanding service & hospitality, while exceeding guest expectations.
• Oversee all day-to-day operations of Hamlin House, including pickleball court management & memberships, food and beverage service, and facility maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability among all team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Manage inventory, budgeting, and financial performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Cultivate relationships with members of the pickleball community and other key stakeholders to promote engagement and loyalty.
• Plan and execute special events, tournaments, and promotions to target new members & attract new guests while enhancing and enhance the Hamlin House brand.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A track record in operations management or a comparable role within the hospitality or entertainment realm.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills that resonate with the vibrant spirit of Hamlin House.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving chops to keep the Hamlin House engine humming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that harmonize with the ethos of hospitality we uphold.
• A deep-seated commitment to providing genuine hospitality in tandem with stellar customer service that aligns seamlessly with our mission.
• Understanding of financial management and cost control, ensuring the financial health of Hamlin House.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality or sports and recreation industry.
• Proven track record of leadership, team-building, and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans and achieve financial targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for pickleball and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for our guests.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
