OVERVIEW:
The Grant Analyst will manage compliance-related efforts among funded partners, including oversight of policies, standards, procedures, and protocols. The Analyst will also coordinate grant activity and funding requests for awards provided to UWGH, including administrative duties for the grant management portal e-Cimpact. This critical role will work closely with the Mission and Strategy team to ensure appropriate training and relationship-building across organizations and systems to achieve the highest impact level within each Integrated Client Journey region.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND OVERVIEW:
Provide oversight to funded partners for compliance with standards and policies and organizational review (financial and board governance health). Develop plan for monitoring and training funded partners on standards, policies and service provider agreements to support compliance and stewardship. Coordinate and manage the organizational review process including training on process, concepts, expectations, material submission, and follow-up efforts with funded partners, United Way staff, and volunteers. Support funded partners through ongoing dialogue and technical assistance, consulting and collaborating on action plans to address problems related to compliance findings. Work collaboratively with organizational review volunteers to ensure an accurate analysis of all agencies related financial and governance documents.
Provide grant management oversight for investment made to UWGH. Establish and maintain tracking and reporting process that includes, but is not limited to, budgets, reports and timelines for grant-funded projects within UWGH for external funders. Work collaboratively within UWGH staff and consultants to support request for proposals, letter of interests and applications for funding. Conduct administrative duties of e-Cimpact (grant management portal) for grant applications and reporting.
Provide cross-functional collaboration for planning and implementation within Mission and Strategy and other departments: Working collaboratively, utilize data provided to review current implementation plan and make appropriate recommendations for needed improvements across all areas of Mission and Strategy that will advance our goals for ensuring all members of our community have the opportunity to thrive. At times, lead various planning and development efforts within Mission and Strategy.
Continuously improve knowledge and expertise: Seek out and utilize literature, research, and other current information to stay abreast of latest data nonprofit financial practices and governance and on ALICE, their challenges, and practices to remove barriers and move towards goals. Utilize this information to inform and educate community partners, stakeholders and colleagues.
Constituent Relationships: Work with UWGH’s Advancement team to identify, develop and implement opportunities to communicate work, UWGH goals and priorities to constituents. Be an effective and compelling communicator of the same to advance engagement and brand value.
Other: Perform special assignments and other work, on an as-needed basis. Demonstrate a willingness to take on additional duties to ensure the success of the team. Evening and weekend work may be required.
