Job Description:

 

Are you a skilled and passionate individual with a knack for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment components? If you have experience or technical training in this specialized field, we have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Component Mechanic at our company. We are seeking candidates who can expertly diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment components and have a genuine commitment to excellence.

 

Key Requirements:

 

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must hold a valid driver's license.

Minimum of one year of hands-on experience or completion of a technical school program specializing in heavy equipment component mechanics.

Proficiency in verbal and written communication with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Ability to successfully pass a physical examination and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

 

Independently diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment components with precision and expertise.

Work efficiently while following technical instructions and guidelines.

Execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that work is free of errors.

Take full responsibility for your work and understand the impact of your efforts on the company's operations.

Recognize the significance of various aspects of the job, particularly in areas such as component reusability, and communicate these findings to supervisors or team leads.

Maintain a strong interest in your work and continuously improve your skills and knowledge in heavy equipment component mechanics.

Possess advanced knowledge of diagnostic equipment and repair procedures, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning.

Acquire and maintain the specialized tools and equipment required for this role.

Ensure the responsible handling and storage of tools and equipment and maintain a comprehensive record of employee-owned tools, including photos and cost documentation.
